Targa is famous as being the Original 4×4 of the Sea with legendary sea-keeping and performance regarded by many as a benchmark in cruising boating. Thanks to the design of the first Targa over 40 years ago, Targa is one of the most iconic names in Scandinavian boat building with every boat built to this day at the original yard in Finland and still owned and run by the Carpelan family. The uses of Targa are as varied as your imagination with every model featuring the combination of two cockpits and safe walkaround decks, year-round comfort and regular overnighting accommodation making for the perfect cruising companion for anyone with serious boating in mind. Each boat is built to order and to the very highest standard with a level of bespoke build that simply can’t be found with other larger-volume builders.

Wessex Marine is most famous as being the home of Targa in the UK for the last 30 years. We are proud of our long-established role as sole distributor for the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands. We enjoy the best relationship with all our friends and colleagues at the factory near Vaasa in Finland and work hard in partnership, to ensure the best handover, warranty and after-sales service available on the market today.
