MAREX Boats – the most awarded craft in modern day

Over the last 15 years every single new model that Marex has introduced has been at the forefront of winning industry awards – surely no single brand can match these plaudits.  Since Espen & Thomas Aalrud took over the reigns from their father and developed the modern range of current craft every new model has been showered with awards and nominations.

In addition to all of the European awards, just to track the UK awards alone presented by Motorboat & Yachting the Role of Honour includes many ground-breaking moments.

Marex 370

In 2011 the 370AC won Best Boat in its category and re-introduced the classic Aft Cab format to the market

In 2013 the 320AC won Best Boat in its category and again featured that unique Aft Cab layout

In 2016 the 375 was a Finalist in its category and was summed up by MBY as “Magical Marex, 38ft of pure Scandinavian genius”

In 2017 this model swept the board of all industry awards.  It was described as a “Giant Killer – the 31ft Star that’s as fast as a sportsboat, as versatile as a coupe, as solid as a trawler and better vale than any of them.”
